From New Service to Booked Two Weeks Out
Case Study • Mobile Grooming Marketing
Four months after launching its mobile grooming service, this pet business was booked approximately two weeks in advance and projected $13,000–$14,000 in monthly revenue. Google Ads helped build demand while generating nearly five times as many monthly conversions at less than half the acquisition cost.

The Goal
Build demand for a new service
A New Grooming Van Needed More Than Awareness
Launching a mobile grooming service created a new opportunity, but the business still had to reach pet parents in the right service areas and give them a reason to book.
Mobile grooming also requires more education than a traditional salon. Prospects had questions about pricing, availability, service areas and how appointments worked. The marketing needed to generate demand while helping qualified customers understand what they were booking.
Where We Started
Building Demand Around a New Local Service
We supported the launch with focused advertising, dedicated conversion paths, and ongoing campaign improvements.
The Strategy
Reach High-Intent Pet Parents
Use Google Search ads to reach nearby pet parents already looking for mobile grooming.
Create a Clearer Booking Path
Send prospects to mobile-grooming information and booking pages instead of a general website experience.
Improve Lead
Quality
Refine locations, keywords, exclusions and pricing information to reduce irrelevant traffic and better prepare prospects to book.
Nearly Five Times the Conversions at Less Than Half the Cost
From January through May, 2026, Google Ads generated 52 tracked conversions for the mobile grooming service.
Monthly conversions increased from 6 in February to 29 in May, an increase of 383%. During the same period, cost per acquisition decreased from $167.21 to $77.98.
May produced the campaign’s highest traffic and conversion volume, generating 761 clicks and 29 tracked conversions.
The Advertising Results
Demand Grew. Capacity Became the Next Question.
Four months after launch, the mobile grooming service projected about $13,000–$14,000 in monthly revenue before new-customer discounts.
Appointments were booked approximately two weeks in advance, up from one week only two weeks earlier. Repeat bookings were also increasing, and the business was beginning to explore adding a second mobile grooming van within the next three to six months.
The strongest result wasn’t simply more clicks. It was enough demand to begin planning the service’s next stage of growth.

How We Measure the Results
Google Ads results cover January 23 through May 31, 2026. Conversions represent configured lead actions and do not necessarily equal unique customers or completed appointments.
Booking capacity, projected revenue and expansion plans came from client-reported business information. These results occurred while Pet Engine Marketing managed the advertising and supporting marketing, but we do not claim that every booking or dollar of revenue came directly from Google Ads.
