The Goal

Consistent appointment growth

Clicks Weren’t the Goal. More Appointments Were.

A veterinary business doesn’t benefit from website traffic that never turns into real demand. Paid search needed to reach pet owners actively looking for care while supporting a steadier flow of appointments.

Pet Engine Marketing managed the Google Ads account with the business outcome in mind. Advertising performance still mattered, but appointment growth was the result that mattered most.

Where We Started

Managing Google Ads Around the Outcomes That Mattered

The campaign focused on connecting nearby pet owners with veterinary services while continually improving performance and comparing marketing activity with real appointment data.

The Strategy

Reach Pet Owners Looking for Care

Use paid search to appear when local pet owners are actively looking for veterinary services.

Measure Real Appointment Growth

Compare advertising activity with appointments instead of treating clicks as the final result.

Manage and Improve the Campaign

Monitor performance, adjust the account, and continue improving advertising budget efficiency.

More Leads From a More Focused Google Ads Campaign

From January through June 2026, Google Ads generated 505 tracked lead actions, including calls, form submissions, and other configured conversions. That was 184 more than the same period in 2025, an increase of approximately 57%.

The campaign also generated 34% more clicks while reducing average cost per click by approximately 27%. It reached fewer, more relevant searches while producing more traffic and more tracked leads.

The Advertising Results

More Leads Were Followed by More Appointments

During the same six-month period, the business recorded 362 appointments, up from 247 the previous year. That represents 115 additional appointments and a 46.6% year-over-year increase.

At the business’s minimum service price, those additional bookings represent at least $43,125 in estimated appointment revenue. That estimate does not include additional add-on services or products.

Every measured month exceeded the same month from the previous year. April reached 71 appointments, setting a new company record.

How We Measure the Results

Google Ads conversions include calls, form submissions, and other configured lead actions. They do not necessarily represent unique customers or completed appointments.

Appointment totals come from client-reported business records and include appointments from every source. Lead-to-appointment conversion depends on the client’s availability, sales process, customer needs, and other factors outside Pet Engine Marketing’s direct control.

The estimated revenue figure multiplies 115 additional appointments by the business’s minimum service price. It does not include upsells, add-ons, or additional services or products. Appointment records represent bookings, so completed-service revenue may differ.
